Today’s post is not about crystals, but about connecting to the human energy. We are just finishing up Thanksgiving weekend and tomorrow we go back to our normal lives. We go to work, take the kids to school and go about our day-to-day tasks like always.
This morning I felt reflective. Maybe there is something about the holiday season that brings out the better in people. Yes, there is stress. Stress to get things done. Stress to meet expectations. Stress to be a superwoman or superman. But at the end of the season, doesn’t it come down to spending time with the people that we value most? That connection is what lasts. It’s the moments together. It’s not the gifts or the parties, but the time with the people we most cherish.
This morning, I was thinking about how lucky I am to have the family and friends that are in my life. It’s not a big group, but each and every person is priceless to me. Each person makes me want to be a better person. That is a gift. I don’t even think that they know that just because of their presence in my life — I want to be a better human.
I’ve heard people say to just be yourself. To honor your uniqueness. For lightworkers that just being themselves adds to the masses to make the world a better place. I never really understood this before, but now that I’m writing this. I get it now. My family and friends don’t have to be anything but be themselves. But, by being with them, it effects me in the positive. I want to make changes in myself to be better. (Just had an a-ha moment with you all.)
I’m sitting here shaking my head, not only because of my a-ha moment, but also because I’m not really sure where this post is going! LOL! I feel like I’m journaling to the public. But it feels like the right thing to do.
Human energy is a complex and dynamic thing and we all have the power to wield it. I think that if we all learned to pay attention to our hearts and be guided by it, there could be so much more healing. Love is a powerful energy. Perhaps the most potent of all. We need to connect to it in everything we do — even in the smallest thing we do.
Love is constant. It’s an awesome connection. It’s always there. We just need to give ourselves a chance to slow down, pay attention, and feel it.
I’m starting to pay attention to my heart’s guidance and this is what I was led to do.
I think the final message here is to love each other and take care of each other. Connections matter.
