Renewal

Renewal

Welcome to Spring time!

Here, where I live, the flowering trees have started to blossom. I can hear more birds singing in the morning. It’s no longer dark when I get home and the people around me seem more energized. When I stop to pause and just watch, it feels as if nature and people are shaking themselves off from their winter slumber.

There is a feeling of renewal. A fresh start that feels more significant than the start of the new year. It’s like everyone is waking up. It’s a natural cycle and it feels good to flow with nature. To be in her rhythm and time. To allow things to just be.

Maybe I’ve said it before, maybe I haven’t, in my midlife, some things are getting harder to remember. LOL! But the one thing I want to keep reminding myself of is — trust. Every day, I am being given a chance to renew and start over. That yesterday is done and the best I can do is learn and continue to move forward. Trust that everything is alright or will be alright.

Each day is an opportunity to renew my faith and practice trust. It’s doesn’t all have to be under my control. There are much greater forces and much more intelligent forces at work.

It’s a good feeling to not have to carry it all. I often don’t really understand what is happening or why it is happening. But if I can find a small space to just stop and breathe, I can find that space to renew my trust. Because I am a work in progress, and right now the things I’m working on about myself have a tendency to lapse very quickly. I feel like there are days, I have to shake myself from my “winter slumber” multiple times throughout the day.

I’m learning to be okay with that. I’m learning that growth needs a lot of tending and time.

Nature gives herself time to renew and grow, I gotta do the same. Thank goodness the Universe/God is ever so patient.

Thank you for being here. Whether you found this page by accident or you are coming for a return visit. I hope that the things I’m learning will be helpful for you too. Make the journey a little easier. If you are working on something, be patient with yourself too. Work requires time. Be kind to yourself.

Thank you for being here. I hope you enjoy the various topics posted on this site. It’s mostly going to be about things that interest me. I’ve tried to find a “niche,” but that hasn’t worked so far. I don’t think lives can be niched, when people are so complex and dynamic. My hope is just go with the flow. But regardless of what I post, my intention is always geared towards positivity and sharing lessons that hopefully resonates with you.
